About us
We created Vintaronelo as a response to our own experience of learning video editing, which often felt fragmented and difficult to follow. At the beginning, the process looked like a constant search for materials without a clear structure: separate lessons, random examples, and no complete picture. This made editing feel chaotic and without logical progression. That experience became the starting point for building a course that explains editing as a system.
We began developing materials that focus not only on technical steps but also on understanding how video is constructed. The core idea was to show the connection between clips, rhythm, structure, and scene logic. Instead of scattered learning, we built a structured approach where each stage has its place. This allows learners to gradually develop understanding without overload.
Our mission is to help others go through the same path we once experienced, but in a more organized way. We aim to make learning clear and structured so that anyone can explore video editing at their own pace. At the core of our approach are logic, structure, and practical application.

The course author is Dzintars Kolovskis, a Video Sequence Designer with over 9 years of experience in video editing. His work covers different types of video projects — from short sequences to more complex compositions with layered structure. Over time, he has focused on building sequences that are clear and logically connected.
He has worked on video projects in collaboration with independent studios and creative teams, where the main focus was on structure and scene consistency. His approach is based on analyzing video and understanding how individual elements form a complete result. He has also developed internal editing workflows that help organize the process from start to finish.
In addition to his practical work, Dzintars has guided others through the principles of video editing, explaining complex ideas through simple and structured examples. His teaching approach is based on gradual skill development and building a clear way of thinking. Over time, he has worked with many learners, helping them organize knowledge and improve their understanding of editing.
This course combines years of experience and turns it into a structured learning system. We focus on making each step connected and meaningful, helping learners move forward with clarity. This approach is the foundation of Vintaronelo.
